The Takenoko Bell Tent blends lets you create a glamping experience anywhere you go. The perfect tent for a group to relax, dine, and sleep, all under one versatile roof. Glorious polycotton roof allows the tent to breathe so it never gets muggy. All walls convert to mesh or wide open to let in the breeze. The floor zips out to make the tent useful all day, drag a picnic table undercover and don’t worry about muddy boots when you have the floor removed. Install the inner half tent (sold separately) to divide the space into two separate rooms for privacy.
Polycotton is a mix of polyester and cotton. Compared to polyester, polycotton provides a superior camping experience. The material breathes so the tent does not become humid, it’s quieter in the wind, and it’s more durable. Polycotton is commonly used for tents in Europe and Japan. It is used less commonly in North America due to the cost. In an effort to introduce polycotton tents to the North American market, DOD is offering our line of polycotton tents at prices competitive to polyester tents. We just got this tent and haven’t had a chance to make full use of it yet but we’re really impressed with the quality, space and ease of set up. It took 2 of us 10 minutes to set up the very first time and same with tear down! Will post again after more use.
