As a solo camper, I look forward to using my Shonen canvo tent any chance I get. It is cozy, easy to set up (after the first or second time you'll figure it out), and has plenty of space in the front area for my 'living room' when I'm camping: my chair, small table, portable power supply, cooler, a rug, boots, etc. I love that my sleeping area (where I also keep my clothes) is separate and stays clean. The mesh works for keeping mosquitos out.
After I sprayed the exterior of the tent with permethrin (anti-ticks) ALL the bugs stayed out. I cured the tent for rain by spraying it with a hose, then let it dry. The tent has been through a rainstorm that lasted 8 hours in the night, through 25 degree fahrenheit weather, and regular rain, 90 degree weather, and 30mph wind. For under $200 this has been a fantastic car camping tent for my little getaways.
