The Base Camp Awning is a specialized addition exclusively designed for the Uchi Tent & Tsuku Base Tent. This awning extends your living space by attaching to the main pole of either tent, presenting a unified living and sleeping area. Crafted from the same robust polycotton fabric as the Uchi Tent & Tsuku Base Tent, it ensures a consistent appearance while providing a shaded refuge, and is less susceptible to burn holes from campfire sparks.

Its distinctive V-shaped design effectively prevents rain from entering at the connection point, maintaining a dry and comfortable environment. This awning is complete with three poles, simplifying the setup process when paired with the Uchi Tent & Tsuku Base Tent. It's also versatile enough to be used independently as a stand-alone shelter if desired.

Polycotton is a mix of polyester and cotton. Compared to polyester, polycotton provides a superior camping experience. The material breathes so the tent does not become humid, it’s quieter in the wind, and it’s more durable. Polycotton is commonly used for tents in Europe and Japan. It is used less commonly in North America due to the cost. In an effort to introduce polycotton tents to the North American market, DOD is offering our line of polycotton tents at prices competitive to polyester tents.
