DOD Outdoors’ limited-edition mini super tent, the Kamaboko Tent Solo makes the perfect solo base camp. Comfort in camp requires more than just a place to sleep especially when you're braving the elements on your own. You also need a place to relax out of the sun, escape the summer bugs, warm up on a chilly winter night, or just enjoy some quiet time. The Kamaboko Tent Solo offers all that. Made with DOD’s proprietary Canvo™, our polycotton tent fabric, this tent breathes so the interior never gets sticky and humid. It comes with a removable sleeping chamber that sleeps 2 people. A separate vestibule provides room for lounging under cover and to keep gear inside at night.

Canvo™ is a mix of cotton and polyester. Compared to polyester, Canvo™ provides a superior camping experience. The material breathes so the tent does not become humid, it’s quieter in the wind, and it’s more durable. Canvo™ is commonly used for tents in Europe and Japan. It is used less commonly in North America due to the cost.
