A dedicated Canvo™ roof shield designed to extend the life of your the Kamaboko tent by protecting it from UV exposure. It has the added benefits of keeping the tent cool, reducing interior condensation, and deepening shade.
Features
Reduces Condensation: The double-layered roof design minimizes temperature differences, drastically reducing interior water droplets.
Enhanced Shade & Cooling: Superior light-blocking performance keeps the tent cooler during hot summer days.
Preminum Canvo™: Thick polycotton fabric provides deep shade
Simple Setup: Easily pulls over an already-erected tent using pre-attached ropes.
Instructions
Set Up the Main Tent: Fully assemble and pitch your Kamaboko Tent first. Ensure it is fully pegged down and structurally secure before attempting to add the shield.
Unfold the Shield: Unpack the Kamaboko Shield and lay it out flat next to the tent to ensure it isn't tangled. Identify the orientation of the shield and where the buckle connection points are.
Pull the Shield Over the Roof: Use the ropes if it's too tall for you to easily reach.bDrape the shield over the roof of the tent. Because the Kamaboko Tent is quite tall, trying to throw it over by hand can be difficult. Instead, use the provided ropes located near the buckles to easily pull the shield over to the other side of the tent roof.
Fasten the Buckles: Locate the attachment points around the tent. Snap the buckles on the shield into their corresponding receiver buckles on the Kamaboko Tent to lock it in place.
Adjust Tension: Once all buckles are clipped in, pull the guylines at each buckle point to tighten the shield. Ensure the shield is pulled taut and sits flush against the roof of the tent so it won't flap in the wind.
