I just set it up for the first time, which was a little challenging since I don’t read Japanese 😬. However I worked it out and in the end it’s super easy once you know how. After years of minimalist tenting and backpacking, the spaciousness of the dome is luxurious indeed. I also love the giant vestibule. I attached the roof of the latter to my vehicle, an arrangement which works very well.
Airflow in the tent is great, what with the big doorways at each end. It came with robust tent pegs which is refreshing. Headroom in the middle is great for standing, such as when changing clothes. I appreciate the thought that went into all the details, like the zipper loops, and the way the poles work, making the tent very functional.
The weather on this trip is hot and very humid and so far the tent has been very comfortable. I’ll update the review when I use it in cold or rainy conditions.
