I haven't camped with it yet, but it seems like a good deal for the price point. I bought it for car camping trips when I want quick set up and take down, and I believe this will work well. Really pleased with the ventilation. Interior holds two wide, single sleeping mats, but not much else. The vestibule will fit shoes and a pack.
Everything DOD does is mindful and well made.
This tarp is no exception. Well made with rich color and material. Even the obligatory supplied guylines are quality. It has been set up for two days in constant drizzle. Waterproof and beading off to the corners
with the precision and elegance of origami.
I love caps of all kind and own way too many, but this one is great bc its different from all the ones I own. When I first saw the hat in the bag and it was completly flat, I was worried. But after opening it and felt the material, I totally get it. Nicely designed with quality material. The unique feel and breathability of the material, makes it nice to wear in any heat. I decided to order the other color.
Great, sturdy design. My only negative comment is that the hooks which secure the fold-up handle in storage mode end up sticking out toward whatever you're hauling in cart mode. I couldn't envision a better way to design it myself, but it seems like it might puncture soft things or scratch hard things.
