Home Base Tent

Add a great big slice of luxury to your next camping trip or backyard event. The Home Base Tent is one of our largest tents. The generous footprint and tall ceilings create a roomy interior. Due to careful design, the tent can be set up by one person in less than 20 minutes. The floor can be zipped out for use as an event structure. The Base Camp Awning, attached to another door of the Home, provides a shaded outdoor area. Glorious Canvo™ roof allows the tent to breathe so it never gets muggy. All walls convert to mesh or wide open to let in the breeze. (OLIVE has been discontinued).

Canvo™ is a mix of cotton and polyester. Compared to polyester, Canvo™ provides a superior camping experience. The material breathes so the tent does not become humid, it’s quieter in the wind, and it’s more durable. Canvo™ is commonly used for tents in Europe and Japan. It is used less commonly in North America due to the cost. In an effort to introduce Canvo™ tents to the North American market, DOD is offering our line of Canvo™ tents at prices competitive to polyester tents.
