Scout Tent

DOD Outdoors’ ultimate minimalist teepee, the Scout Tent, is the centerpiece of the perfect lightweight camp. Comfort in the wild shouldn't mean wrestling with complex pole sleeves or hauling massive, heavy bags. You need a shelter that goes up in minutes, breathes like a dream in the summer, and leaves plenty of room in the trunk for the rest of your gear. The Scout Tent offers exactly that. Crafted from lightweight yet durable fabric, it combines a classic single-pole teepee design with a fully breathable mesh inner chamber. While it’s technically rated for three adults, it is much better suited for a trio of children or as an ultra-comfortable setup for two adults to stretch out with plenty of room left over for gear. (SHIPS WEEK OF NOVEMBER 15TH).

• One-Pole Simplicity – Pitching this tent is practically effortless. Just peg out the corners, slide in the heavy-duty folding steel center pole, and you're done. No complex frames, no setup guesswork.
• Compact & Lightweight – By shedding the bulky, multi-pole frames of traditional dome tents, the entire kit weighs under 7 pounds. It packs down so compactly into its included compression bag that it takes up barely any room in your trunk or closet.
• Breezy Summer Sleep – The inner sleeping chamber is constructed entirely of mesh, guaranteeing maximum airflow and zero bug intrusion on warm summer nights.
• Climate Control – Dual top ventilators keep fresh air circulating to minimize condensation, even when the outer rainfly is zipped tight against the elements.
• Smart Details – Includes an inner pocket for stashing your phone and headlamp, and an oversized storage bag that makes packing up incredibly forgiving.
